GAC De-Escalation Contract Awarded

LTT Tactical is proud to announce that, in partnership with LDC Solutions, we have been awarded the Global Affairs Canada De-Escalation Techniques Training contract.

The program delivers de-escalation training to Canadian diplomatic staff, mission personnel, and locally engaged employees operating in environments where verbal conflict can escalate into physical threat with little warning. The work draws on our operational background and LDC's institutional experience with GAC's specific mandate.

What we bring to the contract:

• Depth of capability — instructors with lived experience in the environments where students will deploy.

• Diverse role-players — trained actors who reproduce the full range of adversarial behaviours, from bureaucratic obstruction to acute mental-health crisis to hostile crowd dynamics.

• Practical, scenario-driven delivery — every principle is tested in a scenario before students leave the room.

• Cultural calibration — the de-escalation techniques that work in Ottawa do not always work in Kinshasa. The curriculum adapts.

Being selected to support Canada's diplomatic community is a responsibility we do not take lightly. The people who go through this course represent Canada abroad, often in places where the margin for error is small. Our job is to make sure they come home.
